Given how rare it is to get such a large item on Amazon I feel it's important to note: the delivery experience was great! Some boutique freight company shipped this overnight from Melbourne to Sydney, and even brought the item inside for us. The couch is basically 2m tall, so the box is long - very great to have help moving it inside. The item itself was packed flat into the box, with any needed pieces packed into it in a pouch or next to it as padding for the couch - all in the one singular box. Assembly was easy - screw on the logs and slot the side boards on to their rails. The only part that can possibly be screwed up is how you place the angled legs - the diagram in the instructions is subtle but you can spot which legs go where, plus which way they should face. Two legs are straight and two are angled, so it matters! The couch has a fifth support leg as well, really nice to see. The couch frame is basically hollow (again, pieces of the couch were stored in a zipped-up pouch of the couch) but it supports me and another person on it with ease (and we're tall, heavy people, lol). Everyone who tried the couch here says it's firm, and not everyone likes a firm couch - some like a plush cushiony couch, and that ain't this. I like the firmness! I feel like I can sit in it properly and just use cushions/pillows/blankets/etc for any needed cushiony-ness. The sofa mode / adjustableness of the adjustable portions took a bit of getting-used-to - you gotta slide the parts all the way down and then back up to lock them into a new position, regardless of the new position. Once you figure that out, it's a really easy-to-adjust sofa bed! And I'm absolutely blown away that an item like this is on Amazon. I've had such hassles with local stores and their "fantastic" furniture services that I've dreaded getting new furniture - but this was a breeze. Great experience to get this item, and I'm really happy with this item.
